Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our services and approach to care.
What is cash-based physical therapy?
Cash-based physical therapy means you pay directly for care rather than using insurance. This allows for longer, one-on-one sessions and treatment that isn't limited by insurance restrictions, so care can be fully tailored to your goals.
Who is Movela best for?
Movela is best for adults who value personalized, one-on-one care and a whole-person approach to movement and wellness. We work with individuals seeking neurologic rehabilitation, injury recovery, balance and vestibular care, movement optimization, or ongoing wellness support.
Do you accept insurance?
Movela does not accept insurance and operates as a cash-based practice. This allows for transparent pricing, extended sessions, and individualized care. Receipts can be provided for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
What conditions do you treat?
We treat neurologic conditions such as stroke, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, ALS, and balance disorders, as well as musculoskeletal pain, dizziness, vertigo, mobility limitations, and fall risk.
Do you offer wellness-only services?
Yes. Movela offers wellness-focused services for individuals looking to improve strength, mobility, balance, and overall movement without a specific injury or diagnosis.
